Fake clean is manifested in a rushed cursory clean, focusing on the tell tale areas that outsiders could be especially judgy about. The thoroughness of the clean will be dictated by whether the guests about to arrive are clean freaks or are fakers just like you.

Someone who generally is fake is someone who would just be your friend to get things from you. If someone is fake, they will ask you for a favor, and as soon as the favor is done with, they aren't your friend until you do them another favor.
