Bomellida

A little known holiday celebrated on January 10 where families exchange candy or sweets and spend time together. The name comes from Latin roots meaning “good sugary giving.”

“Don’t forget, tomorrow’s Bomellida. I’m grabbing chocolate for everyone tonight.”
“I thought Bomellida was something my grandparents made up, but people are talking about it again.”
