A “wet wipe” is somebody who is overly sensitive and immensely touchy. Generally it is of the male specimen that this is used for, due to the idea that a man should not be so pathetic. Wet wipes like to make a theatrical scene of leaving a situation because they feel attacked on a regular basis.
