Most people stereotype emo people as edgy teens that hate everything,unsurprisingly that's not true most emo people are only people that are just emotional and express emotions through music,art ect.
True there are emo people that are the Cringy teens but let it be known that they are the minority of the emo community and that most of us are actually nice people that are just more in touch with our emotions then "normal people".
Some (not all) emo people actually are deppresed so be careful if you talk about that as a joke as some people might take offence.
Also don't be afraid to be emo as it actually can help you a lot to relieve stress and to all around feel better about yourself as a person,work with your emotions not against them because at the end of the day emotions is what makes us human.

"The shadow person" refers directly to the completely random occurrence in which a person will clock a glimpse of an unidentified spooky figure which resembles that of an ominous, dark, slender-man looking entity which flashes past their peripheral vision.
This phenomenon has been widely addressed since, well, the beginning of time.
What is most scary is how everyone, even your friends and family, will most likely be able to relate to this and have experienced this several times within their lifetime, with no explanation or evidence as to how and why - even diverse groups of people around the world have described to have coincidentally seen the exact same figure
Despite the unknown presence of the shadow person, research and theories have suggested that these are “creatures of supernatural origin that appear as dark forms in the peripheries of people’s vision and disintegrate, or move between walls, when noticed.”

Someone who is In touch more with their emotion. Prefers to be alone. Most of the time wears all black, possibly band shirts, skinny jeans, fringed/bangs hair. Usually died black. Likes music, writing poetry. Some emos cut not all do. Most emos dress like this or look like this. Coming from an emo girl I dress like this and act like this most of the time. Some emos say "not all emos dress like that". OK so if a guy wearing a white tank top, baggy low rider pants , walked up to you and said I'm emo would you believe him? Probably not because he doesn't fit the style. Emos now a days don't listen to emo music. We listen to rock, metal, post hard core music. Stuff like, black veil brides, pierce the veil, sleeping with sirens, motionless in white, all time low, fall out boy, get scared, ghost town, of mice and men, bring me the horizon, panic at the disco, second hand serenade, etc. A lot of emos or me have received bullying for how we look or act but (not to sound cliché) it will get better because the people bullying you will mature and realize why am I doing this I shouldn't hurt someone's feelings. Mostly teenage girls that spend the majority of their time on tumblr laughing at text posts made by other tumblr people and watching shows like supernatural, pretty little liars, and American horror story. These people have a very sarcastic sense of humor and are usually a bit antisocial when offline. These people don't get a lot of sleep due to tumblr. The text posts made by tumblr people are usually very relatable to other tumblr people, but tumblr can be a very scary place sometimes if you are not a tumblr person.
