Because they are the largest minority many people think it is alright to discriminate them with out realizing that they are people too and that people shouldn't be discriminated based off of their appearance.

Someone with coppery/red/orange shade hair. Contrary to popular opinion many gingers can tan and do not always have freckles. Some are attractive, some aren't just like blondes and brunettes. A common insult for gingers is 'carrot top' however, this is ineffective because:
A) carrot tops are green.

B) Gingers would rather have hair the color of carrots than shit or urine.
