Cross Cromer

Cross Cromer is a 21st Century Jungle Rock/Indie Rock/Post Punk/Alternative Rock/Country/Country Rock/Blues/Blues Rock band founded by Cross (Rhythm Guitar & Vocals) and Cromer (Lead/Rhythm Guitar). Other members include Moss Man (Bass Guitar) and BFR (Vocals). Each member has played drums on at least one song.

Throughout 2022, Cross Cromer have created 7 abums and 3 EPs. Their most popular song is “Pickup Truck” which is a country song about a man crashing a pickup truck. Their most well-respected and admired albums are “The Worm Parade” and “King Krossmer” with “The Space Album” being the band’s (self-admitted) weakest. The band’s music is only available on YouTube, with the channel amassing a small following.

The latest album, “Cross Cromer” is said to be the band’s last album for an indefinite period of time.

covert sexism

Being sexist without the intent or conscious will to be sexist and cause offence.

For example, "you lift weights like a girl" can be seen as "covert sexism" if the speaker hadn't the intent to be sexist but simply insult the person lifting the weights for their lack of strength, technique, etc.

This is a phrase that is quite well-known and implies that 'lifting weights like a girl' is substandard and something to be ridiculed for.

An entertaining, usually light-hearted and family-friendly movie you watch while curled up in a dozen or so blankets (covers--hence the term) that requires little to no logic to understand, is likely a childhood classic and which brings back memories of the good old days.

Frost-bitten and shivering from shoveling snow, goosebumps-laden Andrew went inside his cozy home, removed all of his clothes, asked his mother to make him some hot chocolate and immediately popped in a cover movie -- Back to the Future -- before diving into a mountainous pile of covers and falling asleep. Needless to say, when school was canceled the next day, Andrew had a lineup of quality flicks prepared for a day's long of cuddling - Sandlot, Home Alone and The Goonies.

The next day off from school he watched It's A Wonderful Life, followed by Masters of the Universe and Ernest Scared Stupid. He fell asleep and passed out before getting to Billy Madison or, his next choice, Revenge of the Nerds.
