strategically waiting

When you want to end things with someone, (specifically a difficult situation/person) to avoid as much drama as possible, you decide to wait until it’s tactically possible for the safety of you and others. Essentially there is unfinished business that you’re afraid will bite you in the ass if you don’t handle it before ending it.

I’m not avoiding the breakup, I’m strategically waiting.

A-strategy

When playing multiplayer Super Mario Bros. (for Wii) A-strategy is the act of pressing the A button when on the verge of dying, this so the other player can pop you out of the bubble when he/she is safe.

Not to be confused with A-panic which is the spontaneous act of prematurely pressing the A button when you obviously don't need to.

"Hmm, I'm falling to my death, let me perform the A-strategy so I can safely float in my bubble towards the other player who's actually making this horrible jump!"

also it can mean, while in the nude, sitting on top of a person's naked bum who is lying face down , as if youre sitting on a seat, bum to bum - you will be facing down their legs - its actually quite comfortable!

he was bottom straddled on the chair when someone pushed him on the back making him hit the floor.

Ferrari Strategy

Verb: To do something exceptionally stupid that results in adverse outcomes such as public backlash, financial reprocussions or some other massive copout, often with little to no logical reason or explaination as to why or how it happened.

Noun: The name for the collection of "strategic" decisions by a group of people referred to as Ferrari Strategists during a Formula 1 race. These decisions usually ruin the race for either one of or both of the Scuderia Ferrari drivers while benefitting every other team on the grid.

Ferrari pulled a Ferrari Strategy by ordering Charles Leclerc to pit, and then screamed at him to stay out as he was driving down the pit lane.

Aston Martin pull a Ferrari Strategy every time they let Lance Stroll get in the car. They should know by now that the car will need a full rebuild after every session when he gets behind the wheel.

Bloke 1 - Finally Ferrari are pitting Charles Leclerc off the medium compound.
Bloke 2 - But why are they now putting the hard tyres on? Theres only 15 laps left, He should be on softs!
