To check the sex of someone when gender is questionable. As did Crocodile Dundee in the 80s movies.

I saw this "woman" at the club last night. I was going to give her the Crocodile ID but she left with some dude. I guess I will never know if it was a man or woman.

Crocodile Prayer

A particularly intentional effort by someone religious to express very publicly and loudly their intention to "pray" for their opposition/target of their aggression in a disingenuous attempt to appear righteous

"I will pray for you so that the lord may save you from yourself" = a crocodile prayer

crocodile gut

When one eats an excessively large portion of food in a single sitting which ends up taking a couple of days to digest. Usually accompanied with fasting.

"Hey Jim, we're going out for Mexican food, would you like to come? "

"Nah man, I ate a 5 pound steak at Earl's last night and I am working off crocodile gut."
