Shady Palm Tree

An adjective used to describe something or someone that is particularly shady, creepy, etc. Students in Southern California and particularly at San Dieguito Academy often use this word.

Courtney: Who's that person lurking behind the bathrooms?
McKenna: I don't know! He's really shady palm tree!

a slummy shithole in Jackson New Jersey. where the people are mostly asshole douche bags who all think they are better than everyone else they think they are Aryan or hicks but the majority of them listen to rap/hip-hop "music". and drive beat up p.o.s vehicles and drive like it is the indi 500 even some pizza restaurants won't deliver for fear of being robbed this place is drug infested and the cops are here on a daily basis

Describes the phenomenon that people encounter when one of their good friends starts dating a new person and immediately becomes a different person. Signs include: not answering phone calls, not calling back, loss of desire to have fun, and being all around shady.

2. An altar ego to American rapper Eminem. Eminem uses Slim Shady as an excuse for why he says or does things. He is an evil twin if you'd like.

Generally meaning someone who is mysterious or difficult to understand; someone who tends to stay in the background.

Can also be used more offensively to describe someone who is or seems to be untrustworthy, sneaky and unrespectable.

I want to get to know him, but he's so shady, it will take some time.

I don't trust her, she seems really shady.
