Scub

1. A scub is a person who use to be problematic (in other words, a downright horrible person in the past) but then learned what they were doing was awful and changed their ways. This can lead to people always bringing up what awful thing(s) that person did. They are ashamed of who they were and wish people understood that they’re trying to move on. They point out other people’s wrongdoings so the person can realize to not do that again, which is called preventing someone to become a scub. This is what the meaning of the aesthetic `scubcore` is based on. It’s usually used to cope with the overwhelming feeling they have.

2. Being more self aware of how corrupted the American system is. or usually, most countries systems in general. They can often point it out and correct someone if they say how great it is (mortally reality checking) This is also the same meaning in Scubcore, but less used.

Examples;

Person B: “Is it just me or caleb is acting like a scub? I mean, he seems to be pretty..stubborn about politics recently.“

Or

Person B: “True, that might be because hes done pretty terrible stuff in the past and noticed you’re doing some of that aswell. I agree that he’s becoming self aware, just like a scub. Caleb’s changing his ways.”
