An incredibly dangerous, time consuming, and fun sport. Cheerleading combines brute athletisism for stunting, tumbling, and dance as well as balance and cardio. If you think this isnt a sport try lifting a 115 pound girl in one hand.. ya thats right. or doin a standing full. Although the glamour and fashion is often overdone and unecissary the athletic parts of the sport are both incredibly entertaining and dangerous. I alone have broken my nose 3 times, knocked 2 teeth out, and have been witness to sprained backs, fractured ribs, and compund fractures. sriously dont knock it till u are the best in the world!

Gymnastics is more on vaults, beams, and un even bars, cheerleading is mostly stunting on the floor! A large sterotype cheerleader is an airheaded whore but all cheerleaders i know, including myself, are self respected girls whom are not allowed 2 cheer unless we maintain a B average. Please respect this sport because all of the haters have no idea what kind of training we r put threw! Enough training 2 lift and throw some1 in the air, think about it,,,,
