In lamens terms means to shut your mouth. Relates to a similar term, shut your face. Should be used often to annoy others and preferibly with a slight accent. Can be shortened if neccesary to "cha chu" or in emergency to "cha", but only in emergency.

And strutting her shit around to make sure the guys are looking, because her egotistical personality needs the attention.
Cha chas tend to wear open-toed shoes, flip-flops, and chancletas.
