Derived from "tard" (from "mental retardation": a formerly common, but now considered derogatory, term for learning disabilities or other cognitive deficits) and "Teflon" (a brand of synthetic resin used for non-stick coatings), "tard teflon" refers to the uncanny ability of many a moron to avoid serious or lasting consequences for their poor decisions.

Alex managed to tard teflon their way out of prison time for driving under the influence, instead being slapped with a small fine and put on a year's probation.

Z-tard

Z-tards are people who support the Russian invasion of Ukraine because they only read far-right news outlets and Russian news without acknowledging pro-Ukraine arguments. It comes from many pro-Russians using the letter Z (even though it's not in the Cyrillic alphabet) due to the Russian government pushing propaganda making Z look like their symbol of allegiance.

John: Did you see David larping about how Ukraine deserved it yesterday?
Emily: Yeah, he looks like a Z-tard.
