An imaginary pint of beer,mainly drunk by those in the south of England.
When ordering the pint of beer,they give a wink to the barman,and he tops it up with lemonade.
The Southerner(Also known as a Paolo)is then able to claim to have drunk loads of ale,when infact he's been drinking lemonade.

I drank 12 pints last night.
That geezer was on Paolo-shandies,he's drunk about 3 real pints.
