Desperation Candy

The stale, weird or other similarly mediocre candy or sweet food eaten because the "good" candy is gone and the person eating it is too high to drive to the store. Desperation Candy can include but is not limited to any holiday candy older than six months, anything with dried fruit (Raisinettes) or coconut in it, ethnic candy made from unconventional ingredients, candy found between sofa cushions, and so on.

"Hey, munchie time. Where's the Reese's PB cups?"

"Gone. All we have left is desperation candy; you want peeps from last Easter or some broken fortune cookies?"

Desperatext

(n) The act of sending a reply text within 30 seconds of receiving one. The Desperatexter usually shocks the person who sent the initial text because of how fast the reply came. Usually done by those that are desperate for conversation or those that have gotten the number of a cute guy/girl and can't wait to engage in conversation.

John: You must really like, Tiffany.

Thomas: What makes you say that?

John: As soon as I hear text come in for you, you're responding. You've been desperatexting all day, man.

Thomas: Whatever, John. I really like her.
