CoD = Call Of Duty, which is a popular video game for the Xbox 360, PS3, Wii, and PC.
CoD 5 is the incorrect way to say Call Of Duty: World At War.(WaW) People say CoD 5 because they are too lazy to say CoD: WaW.

Friend 1:"Hey dude, lets go play some cod 5."

Friend 2:"Don't you mean cod: waw?"

CoD commando

someone who thinks they know all about special operations units and weaponry or thinks they can fight alongside them because the spent copious amounts of time playing Call of Duty or some other spec-ops game like socom or Ghost Recon

*in MW2 multiplayer lobby*
cod kid: I know how to be a SEAL because i saw the guys in that little under waterboat sneaking up to that place and surprising the guys from in the water in singleplayer!*

Actual SEAL playing(not likely): kid you dont even know the first thing about that and how serious a job that is. you sound about 12 why dont you go outside and play and stop being a Cod Commando while youre at it.
