Long-haired, badly dressed, drug-using, unshowered, communist sympathizing, lazy-ass cowards who used pacifism as an excuse so they didn't have to serve in Vietnam without admitting that they were really just huge pussies who were afraid of dying for their country. All they did was listen to bad music and sit around all day complaining about how horrible life was for them, despite growing up during the most prosperous era of American history. Interestingly, hippies never actually tried to do anything about the "injustices of society" they constantly whined about. Despite claiming to be pacifists, they started some of the most violent riots in American history. Used "social protest" as an excuse to get high all of the time and not get jobs. Treated returning Vietnam veterans as baby-killing criminals. Hippies contributed absolutely nothing to society; in fact, they almost brought about the complete destruction of western civilization, democracy, and freedom as we know it.
Typical hippies: "Dad, I know that your generation grew up during the Great Depression, practically starving for an entire decade, and then had to go off and fight the Nazis and the Japanese, but, I'm telling you, I've got it worse."
Hippies don't shower, actively promote communism, and throw dog shit at disabled veterans.

Get the hippymug. a hippie (plural hippies) are a subculture of people who are against the government and they aim to create a total collectivist society. If you have no clue what a total collectivist society is, read the book anthem by ayn rand. Hippies were first thought upon as gross disgusting anticapitalist morons. In todays society, being a "hippie" is cool. However, people today do not know the hippie ideals. They just do it for the fashion and believe whatever garbage is on the news. Hippies have no idea of what patriosim is.

Thus there is a neohippie movement of enlightened people and gothic hippie trying to finaly bring there message to the world of peace and love which is a simple as falling off a log but some how the rest of the world can't get it.
