asterisk is open source PBX software designed for the Linux operating system.

asterisk eliminates the need of buying hundreds or even thousands of dollars worth of dedicated PBX hardware.

Aside from Linux, asterisk also runs on various other operating systems, including: BSD, OS X, and now the Windows operating system using "AstWind" package.

Admin: We need a PBX for our organization, but we're kinda low on cash to buy expensive PBX hardware...

Common mistake for Australians.

Also: Humorous but eccentric group of people with an obsession for lederhosen, yodeling, and schnitzel. Famous for their love of skiing and hiking in the beautiful alpine scenery. Yodeling is a required course for Austrians in school, as demonstrated in "The Sound of Music".

Austrians are so hot. The key to befriending them is to bring them delicious food.

Asterix is an expretion that can be used when ever such as

Basically just use it at the end of(suck my asterix /eat my asterix/ smell my asterix)
