Common on Tumblr, Reddit, Social Apps, and Facebook Icons. It's more common in places where people post pics of themselves that don't include a face pic. Boobs(women)/Abs(men), NSFW shots, etc.

Some people create Facebook profiles and steal attractive pics from other people and post them as their own in an effort to get people to friend them.
