a guy of any age really.. that listens to music that a lot of people can relate to. not every emo kid slits his wrist and or cries over their ex girlfriend. half the emo type guys i know wouldn't even give a fuck. mainly its about the music. he tends to take very well care of him self.. dresses in clothes thats fits him tightly.. which in my view is sexy. some are very articulate and have very strong meaning behind the things they say, write in lyrics and write in their poetry. im not emo myself.. i dun label my self ; but i think everyone should just get over the whole stereotype thing.. its kind of been done with.

Emo boy

Generally thin and tall with hair that covers his face, usually jet black... They wear sweaters, tight sweaters... They attract lots of girls and I myself am quite attracted to them. They often get mistaken to be goth posers and are said to be cutters but truthfully almost none of them are. Some insecure men call them Bitches... Which is really mean because these men show emotion rather than hiding it... Anyways they're about the music they listen to bands you never hear of generally local and of the emo genre... I myself enjoy emo music... Examples of Emo Bands:
- The Used (Mainstream Emo)
- Silverstein (Emocore)
- Bright Eyes (Emo)
- From Autumn to Ashes (Screamo)

Emo kid

You guys obviously know nothing about emo people. If you ever actually go to a concert full of emo kids you'd see that..yes, the music has truthful lyrics that are mostly about a person reacting to a sad situation...one that all of us can relate to. But you'd also see that almost everyone there is happy or laughing about something and our bands are usually telling jokes about something or pointing out good things in life. Yes, we dress in band shirts ,jeans and studded wristbands and belts and some of us wear a type of emo-punkish bordering on gothic clothing (Those of you who are familiar with My Chemical Romance know what I mean). Emo kids are not pussies and we're not miserable. We're in touch with our feelings and we're comfortable with the way we feel. We are very in tune with ourselves and with one another (even if we dont know each other)and if you see us with our friends you'd see that we're usually laughing. Yes, we do always look very loving and we are very loving and approachable. We also do not spend our time making fun of others, we respect who they are and leave it at that..maybe you preppies and "real hardcore punks" could learn a few things from us. Oh and by the way, MOST OF US DO NOT WEAR BLACK RIMMED GLASSES ANYMORE! and we're also not all white and extra small bodied either. Update yourselves a little bit.

Emo Bastard

An Emo Bastard is an annoying dick that you have to socialise with because they linger about like a bad smell talking about THURSDAY and how they made them cry at the gig and how their RUFIO T-shirts colours are fading. Emo bastards like to cry about everything and play metallica solos on their guitars craply even though they tell people that they only listen to emo genred music. They like to attempt to steal your mates too so if you see one, normally wearing a t-shirt with a band that you havent heard of to be "cool" and/or have greasy skin/hair and trousers that are too tight/baggy, boot them in the pussy.

this is because they are the true emo at heart and are sensitive, dark and hurting. however they despise the emo that claims to be hurt when they are really just following a fashion trend.

A girl who dresses fashionably and preppy, she is bubbly and blond, flirts alot and seems normal. However though she doesn't seem depressed she experiences deep pain and sympathy for others in pain. She is clinically depressed
