-Unwilling to work overtime(unless given ample notice...)

Q: Gary can you work this weekend?
A: Well I will if I have to, and I want it to be recorded that I am available to work, but if other people want to work then I would like them to be considered before me.
Q: So is that a yes or a no?
A: It’s a yes in terms of volunteering, but if possible, it is a no. I just need more notice for these things.
Q: So your doing a Gary?
A: Well......

Doing sweet F.A.

"Fanny Adams" became slang for mutton or stew and then for anything worthless – from which comes the current use of "sweet Fanny Adams" (or just "sweet F.A.") to mean "nothing at all".

Stanley just stood in the broom closet doing sweet F.A.

When someone goes from having something relitively good to something that is worse than the original. Often used with boyfriend/girlfriends.

Guy 1: Dude My car is in the shop for a week.
Guy 2: What are you driving now?
Guy 1: Saturn Vue
Guy 2: Downgrade!!!

Doing Too Much

the act of overachieving without any results or purpose.

Telling a joke but nobody laughs afterwords.
Worrying about unnecessary topics.
Irritating a person, whether purposely or unaware

Example 1: Joe-"I finished my project yesterday!"
Kevin-"But it's not due until next Friday.."
Joe-"Yah, I just stayed up until 3 o' clock doing it."
Kevin-"Aw, you're doin' too much.."

Example 2: Dion-"I wore a Hollister shirt yesterday,
now i'm afraid that i'll become a different person if
i start wearing it regularly. i should put this as my
Facebook status!"
Jay-"You're doing too much.."

doing a rose

when you are taking up a whole seat for example, and won't move up to let somebody share it with you, much like rose on the titanic when she doesn't move up to let jack on the floating door, resulting in his death. BOOO ROSE!

(when someone is sprawled out, taking up loads of room on a couch,) "oh come on budge up a bit, don't do a rose!"
OR
i couldn't sleep last night because (insert name of person sharing a bed with) was doing a rose!

When we were in Louisanna, I found a drunk guy, we got a camera and Did a Lynndie.
