Nechaev

Nihilistic anarchist who may have coined the phrase "the will to destroy is a creative urge". During a brief association with Bakunin, a number of pamphlets appeared which may have been written by either or both of them, most famously "Catechism of a Revolution". The two soon fell out because Bakunin was not really a nihilist.

Nechaev's ideal was for revolutionaries to be utterly ruthless and prepared to take any action, however apparently immoral, which would further their cause (a bit like politicians, in other words).

Exiled from Russia after being accused of murdering a political associate; eventually deported to Russia and killed by the state.

To "do a Nechaev" is to act nihilistically. Most often used along the lines of, "I wasn't feeling like doing a Nechaev" (i.e. not feeling like extreme self-sacrifice and escalation).

negaficate

'neg-if-i-kayt - verb; to make a situation or state of being the opposite of what it is. Similar to negify. Not a word with negative connotations, a neutral word meaning to change to an opposite state.

Jerry wanted to negaficate the fact that his bills were overdue.

In short, it means No. It is derived from the word "Negatory", which is derived from the word "Negative". Simply adding the "ma" before the "tory" just adds flavour to the word. Also, you know you are godly if you use this term.

It is mainly used in online gaming.
Used in real life for humour purposes.

Neganap

A nap in which the desired effect is not only not obtained but has in fact been reversed.

A Negative nap, a nap that produces the opposite effect of a normal nap, leaving one tired and drained.

A: Why is John so tired? Didn't he take a nap before coming over?

B: He must have gotten a neganap instead.
