I didn’t like the way the rental agent talked to me so when he stepped away, I sent an Alabama email over the counter.

Dear John Email

A generic email from HR telling you that you have not received the job you applied for. It contains many of the same elements as a dear John letter. We like you very much, we appreciate that you like us as well, but their are other people that we more interested in seeing.

Joel: Have you heard about that job yet at the hospital?

Kobar: I woke up and found a dear john email in my in-box. Looks like I'll be bagging groceries for the rest of my life.

Joel: Bummer

To unknowingly email someone from your blackberry or email device, while it is is your pocket, purse, or manbag. Similar to pocket-call.

I pocket-emailed my boss while mountain biking after calling in sick. Now he wants to know what "V*qw" means, and why I'm so sunburned.

I cold emailed a potential client about building her website. She replied, "I have no idea what you're talking about. API? Hooked up to WordPress? Stop geek barking at me. Will it have sparkles?"

Email - usually about nothing important and/or containing pictures of babies, cute animals, or other such schmaltzy stuff - from a significant other, sister, or mother.

Most men would rather die than read too much f-email.
