A LOL in the conversation

When during a serious conversation somebody does or says something (mostly unintentionally) that makes everybody laugh, like tripping/falling in a funny way or making a Freudian slip.

I just talked to my friends and there was a LOL in the conversation when I asked them about the name of a person we just met that day and one of them accidentally said the name of his pet because it sounds similar.

LOL

LOL is Short for: Lots of Leather. Normally used in texts when referencing a person heavilly wearing leather. Can sometimes use the word "wearing" without to have to change it to "WLOL".

"Geesh. That guy was wearing LOL what's up with him?"
"Dunno, Probs one of them BDSM types."
2 Sam: "Have you seen Robert?"
Michael "Yeah, but don't go looking for him he is LOL its kinda embarrassing"

When something is so funny you need to declare it. Sometime you will hear a Gen Z or even a millennial say “LOL” or “lol”. Oh my lol implies that but with a little more efficacy.

LOL

A shortened version of “laugh out loud”, mostly used in text messages when you’re too lazy to come up with an actual response. Greatly overused in daily life to the point where you don’t even give a fuck about what other people say to you.

Friend: My dog just died.
Douche: lol

10 minutes later

Douche: so wut ‘bout dat hw essay shit you letting me copy? lolololol
