copytition

The current state of performing arts competitions (especially dance competitions) in that their performances merely consist of a collection of moves they've copied from other sources —i.e. another culture, performer, choreographer, routine, style, etc. It is rare to see uniqueness last long before it's either copycatted into uniformity or stolen and exploited for someone's gain.

This competition is is full of routines that are using the same moves and themes, so much so that they are all starting to look alike. It's more of a copytition than a competition.

competitive stalking

Competitive stalking involves 2 or more parties competing to stalk one's social media and trying to find out information on someone's life through social media. The winner is the one who finds out the most information within a certain timeframe. The profile being stalked is be a fictional profile which is set up by someone and cannot participate in that round of the game.

Competitive Lifestyle Syndrome

A constant issue among humans where a lot of bad decisions are because the person committing them want to look, be, or act better than the people around them.
Competitive Lifestyle Syndrome can also apply to a person's private lifestyle, such as sexual pleasures or general passions and beliefs.

1: Jeff's a pedophile, we found him with a 14 year old girl. That's why we're not hanging out with him anymore.
2: What the fuck, why would he risk his entire social life just for sexting children?
1: It's some competitive lifestyle syndrome bullshit I don't get.

3: Head of the Sponge Activist Group is trying to take sponges off of the market shelves again.
4: You're kidding me, why the hell do we need a "Sponge Activist Group"?

Computational Bias

The philosophical bias that asserts that only things which can be measured, quantified, or processed by a computer are real or matter. If you can’t put a number on it, it’s dismissed as irrelevant. This bias devalues subjective experience, emotions, art, and any form of knowledge that doesn't fit into a spreadsheet. It’s the worldview of someone who thinks a person's worth can be calculated by their resume and their feelings are just faulty data.

Example: "My performance review was pure Computational Bias. They said my 'positive attitude' wasn't a measurable metric, so it contributed nothing to the company."
