staying "on the grind" means to work hard, always be hustling, or otherwise engaged in money-making or woman-procuring activities.

people who were once poor and become wealthy might then become lazy and indolent and spend all day in champagne-filled jacuzzis whereas other newly-successful people might continue to work hard, thus "staying on the grind"

there are many examples from 50 Cent's latest release, "the Massacre", but i'll offer up two:

A drinking game which two people play. One must get drunk, and then place his nuts on the table, which the other person is required to slam as hard as possible. If they pass out, then they have to wake up and take another drink.

Bulls on parade 

"Bulls on parade!" - North American metaphor slang,

Usually used to notify those around you that police officers/soldiers are present and/or taking action nearby, and that it may be time to defend yourself against them.

"Bulls on Parade" is also a song by the band RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE, which features on the Album "Vietnow". The band often uses this song as an opener as it is very exiting and contains powerful anti government rhetoric.

"oh shit watch out man, they're coming... YO! BULLS ON PARADE!"

Cools on Ice 

Cools on Ice is used to describe something as cool but really it is the opposite/ is nerdy. This definition comes from the phrase itself, the phrase is obviously uncool but strangely cool at the same time.

When the phrase is said it is usually the case for the person he or she is with, to say Coolio. This is to show agreement with what the person is saying.

1) Those maroon and mustard bow-ties look cools on ice.

2) Person 1: "I can do a roly-poly in my room with out hitting my head on the wall!"

Person 2: "Cools on Ice!!!"

Person 1: "I know, Coolio!"

-When you hook up with an old flame and you pour in hundreds of dollars and all your time and energy and you buy her nice things and she says she's in it for the long haul, but then leaves you when you don't suit her anymore for a Mexican and you're left with nothing but an empty wallet - that's what it means to get shit on.
