Prep girls are also almost always seen screaming and/or hugging. Guys tend to have skater hair, wear t-shirts from Hollister, Abercrombie, etc., and have plaid shorts.

Someone who likes to wear bright happy clothes. Someone who likes to smile, hang out with her friends, laugh. Someone who trys in school, but isn't perfect. Someone with lots of friends who she loves very much.
A lot of people appose preps before they get to know them. They're are mean types of preps, sure. But not all of them are like that.

They will usually wear AmberCrombie, American Eagle and Hollister clothes and spit on anyone who wears stuff from a different store. They will believe they're the sexiest thing sence sex because they wear this stuff even if theyre fat and homely-looking. If they are boys, they usually get a Pete Wents hair-do and if theyre a girl they usually spend hours upon hours fixing their hair. Stereotyically, they will not accept anyone who isn't attravctive(even if they're not attractive themselves) or rich(even if they're only middle-class.) They usually have very flirtatious habits and will have sex with almost anyone in the "popular clique." They don't care if they look like a whore, because being a whore is "like totally kewl." They are also usually in sports at school(football for males, cheerleading for females) this would tie them in with the "jock" clique. On Myspace, girls usually have albums of 200-300 pictures of just themselves, usually with very lowcut shirts because they think they have a nice rack; they dress in AmberCrombie clothing even if it is 10 sizes too small on them. Whether they be male or female, a preppy kid will usually think everyone at school wants to be their friends or BF/GF, thats just how highly they think of themselves. However, on the contrary most of the school actually hates their guts and thinks they're complete douchebags for having such an undeserved sence of accomplishment just because their parents happen to have more money than other peoples parents. The girls usually idolize Paris Hilton and think the only reason people don't like Paris is because shes rich and skinny; well preppy girls, if that where the case then why don't those same people have a problem with other rich, skinny girls? Their only friends are other preps who usually end up abandoning them after they grow out of the prep fad and relize the world isn't going to kiss their ass and serve them happiness on a silver platter because they go by some lable. They also have extremely ugly kids as stalkers, usually wannabe preps or social retards who are trying to be just like them.

Usually wrongly stereotyped, a "prep" is not really a prep. True preps go to boarding schools and the like. I am wrongly stereotyped as a prep, but, honestly, I don't care. You call me that. I have money. I have a big house. I shop at Abercrombie, American Eagle, Aéropostale, and other shops like that. But the sad thing is, the "goths" and "emos" at my school LIKE me. Although I feel out of place wearing a pink shirt around all that black, I'm friends with all of them. My preppy friends are not bitches and sluts. They have a straight set of mind, and are not sex-hungry and don't make out in public. We are not ditzy idiots who say "like" about 10 times in each sentence. We aren't all clones of each other. We all have different personalities, and we only hate people who hate us. Maybe if you open up then you will understand what I'm saying. Some people can be bitches, I agree with that. Usually it's the emo people's MySpace that say "I'm a bitch, and I don't care what you think." I fit the stereotype for many groups. You can call me a prep, a nerd, a jock, an emo, a goth. I'm a prep because of my clothes, I have a big house, I have money, and my friends. I'm a nerd because I'm good with computers, I'm in Pre-AP classes, get good grades, and I play video games. I'm a jock because I play sports. I'm an emo and a goth because I like their music. So stop wasting your time bashing us and appreciate our differences. I appreciate differences between everyone. Maybe someday people will realize that the only reason we hate each other is because of stereotypes. Whenever I'm on a video game, people call me a nerd. When we "preps" listen to emo bands, its not because we heard ONE of their songs on MTV. I've known tons of bands before they went mainstream. And by the way, MTV sucks, Fuse is better.

A prep is not a bitch, slut or ditz. If you are one of these, its not because you are a prep, its because thats just your personality. A prep does not hate other people because they are different, but because they hate preps. It's not our fault we like to dress nice in bright colors and that were always happy. A true prep doesn't shop at Abercrombie or Hollister, but wears Seven for All Mankind, Lacoste, and Juicy. Normally a prep is smart, because they go to good colleges. Now tell me, is it really their fault theyre parents have good jobs and make good money? No! You would dress well if your parents had the money for it. By the way we dont say oh my god and like in every sentence. Stop stereotyping and look.

Pretty much mostly a bunch of dumbass, self-centered, good for nothing, back stabbing, stuck up, arrogant pain in the ass types of people although you can always find maybe a few of them who are actually ok people. They typically wear abercrombie & fitch, hollister, and w/e the hell else they wear whom participate in nearly almost every school activity and participate in some sort of sport at school.
