Hot Topic

It's just a store in every mall, where most posers go to shop. I go there to purchase some shirts/hoodies from my favorite bands, and not once I have gone there without hearing at least 2 posers and 2 normal people
I've literally heard people say this:

Poser1: "Man, my mom would never let me have that ICP poster!"
Poser2:"Yeah man, buy it!"

Poser1:"Let's buy something my mom would never let me wear."
Poser2:"Yeah, how about that Good Charlotte shirt? They're pretty gothic."

NormalPerson1:"Can I borrow some money for that Sabbath shirt man?"
NormalPerson2: "Uh, sure."

So yeah, if you only go there 'cause you think you're being rebellious or just to prove you're some "uber goth anarchist skater dude" or whatever, then you're truly a poser.

It's like abercrombie for kids who are goth,emo,punk, and possibly scen. not a store for "nonconformists" just another store in the mall for people with more alternative lifestyles

hot topic

a mighty fine shop. probably the only place besides ebay that i can purchase a wide variety of neat shirts (tees, fishnets, you name it). also a good place to pick up some non-traditional-colored hair dye and temporary hair color, and the only place i really get my jelly bracelets from.

ppl are always like hot topic sux but im like stfu ass its a great store with comfy clothing

The exact opposite of the store Abercrombie and Fitch, except for the horrible smell and the abundance of teeenagers willing to pay $80 for one piece of ripped clothing

Hot Topic

A place where no one should be judged. I've read some really jerky stuff from really lame-ass people about how much people who shop there are freaks and posers. Hot Topic is a store where ANYONE can go. Whether you like Hollister or despise it, you can still go to Hot Topic. It's not like preppy kids are banned from the frigging store!!!! However, I feel 10 times more welcome in Hot Topic becuase no one there JUDGES me, unlike Hollister where I walk in and there is some skinny blonde bitch at the register who thinks she's all that giving me a nasty look like "Ew. who let that freak in here?" Thats the main reason I don't go in there. Becuase those asshole employees give me dirty looks. I know I don't belong in Hollister. People like me go to Hot Topic. If you don't lke Hot Topic, then walk past it in the mall and SHUT THE FUCK UP ALREADY!!!!

kid #1: You know, I don't think we belong in Hollister. That blonde bitch at the cash register is giving me a dirty look.

kid #2: Yeah. Let's get the hell outa here and go to Hot Topic. We won't get that nasty look in there.
