The dab is a dance move that involves extending one arm away from your body pointing slightly upward, and bending your other arm 90° and point it in the same direction as the other arm. And then tilting your head forward towards your chelidon (the pit opposite your elbow). Typically with your legs slightly apart for a solid balance.
The dab has been apparent in hip hop culture since the early 2010's but it's most recognizable rise in pop culture was with the song "Bitch Dab" preformed by the hip hop trio Migos. Since then, dabing has been referenced by multiple pop icons and even presidential canditade Hillary Clinton entertained the Ellen Shows audience with a dab.

Because of these guys, the internet is full of people doing this "dance." In order to do this, which you shouldn't, it involves you bending one of your elbows and making it face to the side and putting your head inside your elbow. The next step involves you raising you other hand and making it face the other way. It is unadvised to try this as it could make you lose all your friends.
