Similar to a fire alarm, a beak alarm is often sounded in large financial institutions within the city. In order to increase productivity during the inevitable mid-afternoon slump, when sounded, employees are encouraged to stop what they are doing and snort a line of company beak.
*Alarm sounds*
PA system: "Please place yourself on do not disturb and have a line of beak ASAP."
Cal: "Quick lad it's the fucking beak alarm."
Andy: "Ahhhhh. I bloody that thing."
PA system: "Please place yourself on do not disturb and have a line of beak ASAP."
Cal: "Quick lad it's the fucking beak alarm."
Andy: "Ahhhhh. I bloody that thing."

The obvious and intentional noise you make in a public bathroom stall to alert others when the enter the bathroom, that the stall is being occupied. Includes the ruffling of the newspaper, the pretend cough, and clearing ones throat.
Some guy was talking on his cell phone while in the bathroom, so I gave him the stall alarm to know that I could hear everything he was saying.

Early in the morning, around sunrise, the lovely little fur-ball that slept by you night decides to get up. She trots over to her bowl, which is empty ... Then, she comes back into the bedroom and meows at the top of her lungs - for the sole purpose of waking your lazy butt up to get her something to eat!
Diane: I am so tired. My Alarm Cat went off at 6am today! I have to start feeding that cat at night.
