Poser

A poser is a generally slanderous insult with no truthful backing. It is often used among teenagers depending on what someone wears.

However, the literal definition is someone who attempts to 'pose' or not be their actual self, to fit in among others.

"Dude, John came in wearing an Adio jacket and skater shoes today."
"Are you serious? He doesn't even skate. Man, what a poser."

Truthfully, this by no means suggests that John was actually attempting to pose as a skater. He just bought the clothes he wanted.

When you are trying to watch a show that you DVR'ed but the host(ess) frequently pauses the show in order to do something else like tell a story about his day and then forgets to resume play.

Hurry up and hit play already! We haven't watched the show in 15 minutes, pause queen!

poser

everybody according to someone. in reality a poser is someone who pretends to be someone they are not. only acting a certain way because they want to be accepted. the problem is someone is going to call you a poser no matter what. the term has lost all meaning really. i once heard a jackass call marilyn manson a poser. really? who is he trying to be if not simply himself? so in short everybody is a poser apparently.

bob: have you listened to the new gwar album?

jack: you like gwar? you're such a poser.

bob: you're a fucking idiot. why do we even hang out?

(N) an urban poser is someone who writes their own names on Urbandictionary and makes they're name sound incredibly cool or awesome when in reality it is not.

Guy 1-"hey dude, I just added my name into Urbandictionary!"
Guy2-"cool. Lemme see...'A totally awesome guy that has a huge dong and gets all the ladies'.
Guy 1-"doesn't that describe me perfectly?"
Guy 2- "dude you're such an urban poser.

T-Poser

A T-Poser is someone who does a T-Pose (the act of positioning your body into the shape of the letter "T" by standing straight up and extending your arms out from the sides of your body). This living meme refers to the reference pose used in 3D animation, but has evolved into asserting dominance on people, and even the creation of T-Pose cults in recent years.

The T-Posers are chanting "one of us" in a T-Pose circle as usual.
