When you spend hours waiting for mail by constantly checking the mailbox/your notifications.

Person A: *refreshes mail page*
Person B: You've refreshed the page 100 times.
Why are you still doing it?
Person A: I'm waiting for an acceptance e-mail.
Person B: May you please stop mail waiting?
I need to use the computer too, you know!

When you waited for 3 or fewer seconds before deciding you waited unacceptably long, and leave.

Retail employee: "Why did you leave, I said I would be right back?"
Customer: "I waited, and then left."
R: "I was only gone for 5 seconds though."
C: "It was a Russian wait."
