A 'tuna on rye' is a play in baseball in which a run scores on a bases loaded walk. As the story goes -- back in the day -- the Yankees were in a tie game going into the bottom of the eighth. The manager at the time, Miller Huggins, called Babe Ruth over just as he was about to step to the plate with the bases loaded and said, "drive in a run here, ill buy ya a cheesesteak".
