Sonic CD

Sonic CD is a 1993 platforming game in the Sonic series released for the Sega CD. You play as Sonic the Hedgehog as he attempts to foil Dr. Eggman's plans to take over the game's setting, Little Planet. The game has a time travel mechanic, where Sonic can run past signposts that say "Past" or "Future", and then travel back or forwards in time if he continues to maintain speed.

This game is also notable for introducing two Sonic series mainstays, Amy Rose and Metal Sonic. Both of these characters appear in Sonic games even to this day
Sonic CD is a pretty solid game, dude!

AOL free CD

A quick and easy way for a crappy ISP to try and gain customers. What they dont realise is that no-one actually uses them, we recieve them through the post or in superstores (a personal favourite is B&Q) we dont want them but we keep them. Who can refuse free stuff? These CD's actually prove quite good for throwing, they get great distance.

I think im attracted to getting them because of the nice bright colours they use on their covers.
They got one thing right i guess then!
"wow would you look at that nice bright red colour"
I walk over
"I might take this and never use it but 2 months later might use it for distance throwing"

Microsoft CD

A CD that has been spawned at MicroSoft.
An Apple engineer once said "They say, if you play a MicroSoft CD backwards, you can hear satan. But that's nothing. Play it forward and it installs Windows! :O"

(n.) 1. A nifty frisbee that's available at any electronics store. You can decorate it yourself with any sort of Sharpy. They're free too, so you can grab as many as you like, despite any glares from store employees.
2. An object you should never put in your computer, for the sake of humanity.
I got my AOL free CD at Circuit City. I drew flowers on it and we played with it for hours until the dog ate it. I glad I grabbed three of them.

ate the CD

When a musical artist or group displays the same level of vocal talent that they possess in their “CD(s)” during live performances. It can also be a way of saying that the specific artist or group holds real talent.
Pentagon’s live performance of “Shine” sounded JUST like the recording, they really ate the CD.
