It is characterized by the unity of all the Bay Area scenes, From San Jose to Richmond. San Francisco to Oakland. The Beatdown, Straight Edge, Melodic Hardcore, and Metalcore of the area combine into a combined reigonal scene that share values of DIY and social justice.
