nerd-vent

When a nerd has accumulated an urge to release or satisfy the act of "nerding" out or action that falls under the category of being a nerd.

An example of nerd-venting would be having lunch or dinner with a group of individuals and then abruptly stabbing your fork in the table, getting up and putting in an Episode IV Star Wars movie and watching it without regard to any of your surroundings.
