Hypermiling for the average person; driving in a way that saves gas without going to extremes. The major techniques of Mellowmiling are accelerating gently and driving the speed limit or slightly lower. Being mellow behind the wheel leads to better mileage.

Tuner2: Yeah, I get almost 35 mpg when I'm mellowmiling. Hopefully it will extend the life of my car too.
