Sniper Focus

A special moment of complete focus that rejects all outer stimuli in order to achieve greatness, usually in the videogame scene. When someone is in this state of mind, that person does not respond nor does he or she acknowledge another person due to the extreme amount of focus one person is in.

Sniper Focus should not be confused with Runner's High, as one is based on skill rather than endurance

Focusing Event

An event that draws the public and or government’s attention to or away from a particular issue

The impeachment trial of President Trump in December of 2019 drew attention to the issue of corruption in the U.S. government, while at the same time it drew attention away from a massive cyber attack that shut down all of New Orleans’s municipal government websites, which would have drawn the public’s attention to the danger of cyber-attacks on the government. It is an example of a focusing event.

Not to generalise an persons education process to one simple area.

Didn't you hear she quit choosing the life of becoming a highly skilled, yet, fully trained assasan because of her last marks and choose Expanded focus studies insted?

Let me put an expanded focus on that before a conclusion can be drawn or line be estimated!

She became his area of expanded focus beause he went after his fears and fell in love.

A pronounced effort to deflect attention from one's self by steering the conversation solidly towards the other. Usually a subtle technique but sometimes used overtly to gain submissive favor.

The salesman, with his forward focus, kept the conversation squarely upon his customer.
