non-conformist

Contrary to popular belief non-conformists are NOT "emo" "goth" "punks" or "rebels" they are people who do things because they LIKE them not because they're popular. Also in a way everyone seems to conform whether to a religion, to a language or to just be human. Like for example, if all people eat a hypocritical non-conformist would be upset and not eat at all...or they would eat and completely destroy their version of non-comformity. See how complicated this topic is? Basically as I said before non-conformists are individuals who act like THEMSELVES and do not succomb to fads just because everyone else likes them.

Non-conformist: Hey dude I just got a pair of converses!

Hypocritical non-conformist: Dude you can't wear those anymore, EVERYONE has them.

Non Attorney Spokesperson

Any voiceover person on television who pitches lawyer ads with big legal words promising "large cash awards" for your pain, even though they really don't know what the law is nor do they care what happens to you.

I am a non attorney spokesperson. *akward pause*

"Have you been hurt by the following drug or just being plain stupid? Then call 1-888-SCRW-THM. You made entitled to a large cash award."

The worst type of conformist, these are the disillusioned ones who believe they are not conformists and by slating conformists down they become non-conformists.

Non-Conformist

Technically speaking a Non-Conformist chooses their path for reasons outside of some commonly observed trends, traditions, and beliefs.
Non-Conformists do not need validation from others and have a strong inner guide.
Choices may be made which mirror the common consensus, but the internal reasoning will be based on analysis rather than following.
Which is why non-conformists really cannot be identified or labeled.
And why those who would call themselves non-conformist are actually conforming to the definition.
Which negates their claims.

The new Jordan sneakers are released.
The Non-Conformist would be trying on different pairs of shoes and if the Jordans have the comfort, price, and feel they like they will purchase them,
More than likely the Non-Conformist will end up purchasing them weeks or months after the release.

A person who is against the indoctrination of environmentalism; a person who refuses to buy "Green" products, and is even irritated upon hearing about them.People who reject,or are suspicious of,environmentalism, and making society "Green".They believe it is over-done and over-enforced and intrusive upon society.
