moral

A word that is quite subjective, given that everybody has different morals. To say that some one can do "good", Good must first be defined. An act of moral goodness in one persons eyes may be abhorrent in anothers. To assert that one is a moral person would require that some definition of good be a universal constant, and due to the fact that everyone has different morals, we are left with few options.

moral relativist

A moral relativist is one with a snarky attitude and bloated sense of self-importance. They can be found loitering about college campus' for years on end in multiple graduate school programs. If you are unfortunate to have one in your freshman philosophy class they will ask "questions" that are not so carefully disguised claims of superiority over the professor and all other students. Often known to despise organized religion and wear anti-religious bigotry on his/her sleeve, while displaying outrage at all other forms of bigotry. They become loud and angry if you point out that such outrage ironically hinges on moral absolutism.

- Is that so? Well you won't mind if I do this.

Typically, the word is used to describe someone with a petty, mechanical and shallow sense of morality; characterized by dogma and conventionality rather than reason, with no regard for context or nuance.
Person A: Swearing is bad in any context and should be criminalized! Think of the children!
Person B: They're only words. I could think up far more more vulgar things using only plain dictionary words than the use of any of one swear word. It's a non-issue. You're just being moralistic.
