Ex-Christian
Frequently a person who was forced to grow up in a "traditional" fundamentalist and/or evangelical church has grown up and become an adult and has been able to leave allowing them to form their own views on the world and have the autonomy to make their own choices.
While some argue that Xtian means a devout follower of christ because of the Greek letter X (chi) and its involvement in translation from greek to english that was used in the past, however, as we no longer live in the 1630s we can recognize that language has significantly evolved to the point where old words frequently have new meanings (ex.A- anything said on tiktok these days) therefore, Xtian no longer reflects its previous meaning.

In addition, the idea that my going on a vacation to a country with people you deem 'needy' in hopes of recruiting them to my cult by 'saving them' is gross &is toxic modern-day colonization. Im not gunna pay $$$$$ to get myself into a different country, go undermine their workforce by taking jobs I'm not qualified for then demand they say thankyou. To then push a way of life/beliefs on them as if theirs aren't valid while same time infantilizing them with egotistic clout pics is slow-burn terrorism. I refuse to be part of that and that is one of the many reasons I left the church and am now an ex-christian (xtian for online brevity)."
