Voltronian

Something which is composed of several components which come together at a critical junction. This harkens back to the character Voltron, a single robot composed of several smaller ones. It is crucial that something voltronian is not slow in coming together like a puzzle but rapid and climactic in the fashion of a chemical reaction or a double out in a pro baseball game.

The way in which the separate Greek City-States united in the Battle of Thermopylae was nothing less than voltronian.
