n. Greek, a society which is free of hate, violence, prejudice, bigotry, jealousy, etc, and is unobtainable.

Except one way which would be blowing the hell out of everything, leaving nothing alive to hate or be hated.

utopia

A Greek word means a perfect place that does not exist. Sir Thomas More wrote a fiction on a perfect country showing what was going on in this country but did not give reasons why that could or could not happen.

Utopia

Noun. The perfect society; theoretically impossible but practically verifiable, for example by a democratic referendum. IMO, given the necessary conditions of Utopia's survival and recognisability as the perfect society, the characteristics of a Utopian society - survivalism, rationalism, freedom, and happiness - may be derived and society may remodel itself along Utopian lines.

Etymology: from eu (Gk. good) and topos (Gk. place). First used by Sir Thomas More in his book Utopia, c. 1542.

Since perfection is impossible, it is sufficient for citizens of Utopia to work towards a society that is very close to perfection.

Utopia is the future of politics in this country.

Utopianswer

A combination of "utopia" and "answer". It occurs when a naive person has not yet understood and accepted human nature, so they provide simple solutions to complex problems. They may also attempt to shame those that do not agree with their utopianswer. This is because their solution is lazily extracted from the moral high ground, but would only work in a fantasy because it is predicated on believing that the rest of the world thinks (or should think) the same way that they do.

Person 1: If we ban all violent video games then there wouldn't be anymore mass shootings.

Person 2: That's a utopianswer...

Person 1: So you're saying you're okay with kids dying?
