Forced sequel

A act of a movie studio making consistent sequels to their one or more franchises. It's a very controversial act, it's also one of the sources of the Hollywood's downfall.

Star Wars, Fast and Furious, The Hangover, Terminator, Pirates of the Caribbean, Home Alone, Hotel Transylvania and Ice Age are movie franchises that have gone downhill after they became victims of the Forced sequel act.
