Synonymous to the phrase “air this bitch out”, renovate is a term used when an ingnorant person is going to harm the vicinity due to a minor/avoidable inconvenience.

renoviction

Eviction of tenants resulting from a planned renovation of their apartment building.

Coined by Heather Pawsey in Vancouver. Truly an urban word.

The elderly couple faced renoviction when their landlord served them notice that they had 60 days to vacate. They feared that gentrification would price them out of the entire neighborhood.

renoviction

The act of evicting tenants from their rental houses and apartments by greedy landlords who announce huge renovation plans that require the emptying of units to be renovated. Once out, the tenants are not allowed to renew their leases until they agree to huge rent increases, sometimes double what they paid before.

This is a portmanteau word, a combination of renovation + eviction, invented by Heather Pawsey of Vancouver, Canada.

We got a renoviction notice today from the new building owner... they're going to divide the living room to make a new bedroom and replace the kitchen cabinets. We'll have to move out, but we're welcome to come back at double the rent.

Reno is the shit, he is kinda tall, he is cute and has a big smile. He will make you happy. He is very musically inclined, he is very nice and funny. Although he is quite shy, girls think he is hot. Reno is a respectable guy, he has amazing manners, and a lot of people look up to him.

Reno's Charge

A fearful, cowardly retreat from a fight, and later claiming to be re-grouping for a counter charge in order to save face.

He says his "partial withdraw" from the Ukraine boarder is a strategic manuever, but it sounds like a 'Reno's Charge' to me!
