Irronic

Irronic (adjective) describes a humorous or unfortunate event that is not unexpected, and may be exactly what you would expect, based on prior knowledge.

This differs from irony in that the event is not incongruent with prior expectations; rather, irrony comes from the coincidental relationship between the event and some piece of prior knowledge.

Pronounced like "irrelevant", or "irrefutable".

This word also helps to stem the definition creep of the word "irony", and also prevents assholes from complaining about its modern day usages.
"It's so irronic that Marie Curie died of radiation poisoning from radium, since she was the person who discovered radium!"
