Facticle

A word used to describe someone who constantly explains things, especially things pertaining to science. Most times facticle people over explain simple things, listing out all the facts and everything in between.

Person 1: Wow, look at that beautiful rainbow. I wonder why it looks that way. (obviously just stating not asking for an answer)
Person 2: The rainbow looks that way because the sun's light reflects off the rain drops. In their relationship the raindrops act as prisms separating the spectrum of colors.
Person 1: Whoa man, don't go so facticle on me.
