Pre-emptive exaggeration

The act of exaggerating a story, because you think everyone will assume you are whether you do or not.

Religious Exaggeration Mom

A mom that reads stereotypical bible verses, and doesn't even know that they are stereotypical, that is a religious freak, doesn't let you play with good vs evil toys (like superhero toys and star wars toys), just because she doesn't want "negative energy" in the house, says whatever she doesn't like is of the devil, won't even let you say devil, and won't let you listen to songs that sound like "darkness" to her.
It is very hard to live with a Religious Exaggeration Mom
