Get the eldophile mug.An individual who has a strong positive predisposition or interest toward education. The term stems from the conjugation of the word "education" and the Greek suffix "-ophile." This passion on education does not need to be limited to formal academic courses or degrees. An edophile often demonstrates their interest by reading books and obsessively going over the newspaper. An edophile can typically be seen researching new fun facts or telling obscure historical anecdotes.
