the use of a pet to divert attention from an uncomfortable moment or situation. Often used when visiting other peoples relatives, or any environment where you don't know anyone or have anything to say so you speak to the dog/cat/fish/bird.

Shit, Adam dragged me to his Aunt's house on saturday for tea then talked on the phone for an hour I had to use a dogdiversion twice!

1. The inner monologue of a dog spoken aloud by pet owners. Often presented in a cutesy voice, similar to that of the voice used with an infant.

2. The dialogue between two or more dogs expressed by owners.

It is so irritating when my friend gives a full dogologue of what Sparky is thinking.
